Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things

Number 44...It inevitably follows 43 and at this moment, and on this day... it is a beautiful thing!

It is...the retired baseball number of Hank Aaron...the international direct dial code for the United Kingdom...the U.S. route that runs from New York to Massachusetts...it is a stormer number...it is a powerful magnum...it is a formula cough suppressant...it is the number on the jersey worn by Forrest Gump...it is the number of days between the birth of Bill Clinton and George W. Bush in 1946. What is most amazing about the number 44 is Barack Obama our 1st African American, 44th President of the United States!

This is a joyous occasion, not just for African Americans but for all Americans and members of the United States of America. It is a symbol of hope for most, a symbol of solidarity for others but most of all, it is a symbol of the United States of America.

United, the term meaning joined together, to form or cause to form a physical or chemical whole.

State[s], this term meaning existing condition or position of a person or thing; political community under one government.

America, one of the world's most ethnically diverse and multicultural nations, supported by the Constitution and especially by the Bill of Rights..."with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." Outstanding-And this is proven to be true as the election and fruition of presidency of Barack Obama is presented before us on January 20, 2009.

Barack Obama is the prime example of Ordinary People Performing Extraordinary Things. Good Luck Barack, I Wish You Well & May The Peace & Blessings of Allah Be With You!

Sincerely,

Mali

My Apology

Dear Blog Readers,

Please forgive me for my absence. I have been very busy with the most recent fall semester of which I completed quite successfully. The spring semester is right around the corner and I may again be absent for a while to tackle other challenges of upper academia.

Please note, I intend to write here in this blog spot until I can no longer come up with ideas that I care to share. If I am unable to come up with any ideas I care to share, I have moved on to paradise.

Forever I Remain,

Mali
